Dear Shweta,

First of all, I thank you for inviting me on your birthday. I wish you a very great and happening birthday and may god fulfil all your wishes! I was very excited to hear the news of your birthday party. I also want to join you on this auspicious day.

But I will not be able to attend your birthday party due to some urgent reason. Actually, I already have an appointment with doctor for my mother as she has not been feeling well since last few days. As she is having Asthma problem.

I apologise for not being able to attend your birthday party but I promise to visit you next week with a pretty gift. We would be having lots of fun together. Once again I extend my heartiest wishes to you on your birthday.

Convey my regards to uncle and aunty and lots of love to Rahul.

Yours affectionately

Tanishka
