THE CHERNOBYLE INCIDENT

The Chernobyl incident is a great death sequence that effects the world till now. This was one of the horrific incident that made everyone’s heart still at rest till now. This incident was caused due to explosion in nuclear plant. This incident leads to 0(zero) population till now in Pripyat city near Chernobyl.

 

HOW ATOMIC ENERGY IS USED IN NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS?

“ATOM” we all know this word and we also know that everything exist in this world is made of these atoms and each and every atom have great amount of energy in it, which is known as ATOMIC ENERGY.

We use this atomic energy in nuclear plants. In single nuclear power plants so many reactors are used which used to generate heat with the help of atomic energy to run big turbines and with the help of those turbines electricity is generated in those power plants.

REACTORS

In India there are approx. 22 operating nuclear power plant reactors and more than 440 nuclear reactors are in the world. Maximum number of reactors 95 are presented in United States and followed by France 56 reactors.

 

NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS!!

In every nuclear power plant there is an invisible risk present, i.e. RADIATIONS. That’s why many security majors, advance security systems and special types of clothes for workers are present in every nuclear power plant. But, then to all many accidents takes place.

 

 

26 April, 1986!!

On, this day the whole population of Pripyat of more than 50,000 people got ended because of explosion in Chernobyl.

 

Suddenly, the whole Pripyat come to the bridge and start watching the light and they are thinking that it was a simple regular forest fire, but they all we wrong. It was the explosion in a nuclear power plant which release the dust of radio radiations more than 30km far away in few seconds from the place where the plant was installed. That dust of radiations which was snatching the body of people starting generating cancer in their body cells.

This all happened because of mistake or lenience that was made by one if the member only.

 

SENERIO BEFORE BLAST!!

Same night of that day scientists of Chernobyl were doing some safety tests and we can say this incident a mistake or lenience.

 

Because ANATOLY DYATLOV who, was supervising that safety test work at that day and he doesn’t follow and ignore some set of rules which were very important for a nuclear power plant.

 

Since, he doesn’t follow that, suddenly the power of the reactors increases and starts generating heavy power. And fuel rods heated a lot, eventually the scientist put those rods in water tanks but, the water of those tanks convert into steam in few seconds, since those rods were too hot. And the emance build up generated of heat and steam and finally the fourth nuclear reactor explored and the core of that reactor blasts and released the 8 tons of radioactive dust in air. The toxicity of that radioactive dust was 400 times more than the disaster of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

While the time passes the dust of radio radiation spread in near continents.

 

EFFECT OF BLAST ON PRIPYAT

Because of this incident people of Pripyat have to leave their places and till now the population of Pripyat is 0(zero). The things which are their till now are untouched as like the frozen place.

Things which are their till now are completely radioactive that if we touch them then our body cells start getting damage. When their radiation was checked after incident then the meter’s value shows off scale value.

 

PRESENT SENERIO NEAR THAT POWER PLANT!!

There is one forest near that plant which still exist their wealthy and that forest is known as THE RED FOREST. The bridge on which the people of Pripyat were watching the whole scenario is known as THE BRIDGE OF DEATH.

 

The basement of that nuclear plant with huge nuclear dust is known as THE ELEPHANT’S FOOT. That radioactive waste will take +20,000 years to convert into normal waste.

 

Near that nuclear plant of Chernobyl one sarcophagus is made which help to stop the leakage of those radiations.

 

Now in present years, because of that sarcophagus there is some plantation, as that sphere pack all radiations inside that sphere only but, that giant monster on nuclear waste is actively present their only till now.
