E-MAIL WRITING


E-Mail means electronic way of sending messages. It is the most common form of messaging in the present time whether personal, business or official. The reason behind being the most efficient way of messaging is its economical and instantaneous delivery with very low amount of money. Besides it, there can be attachments as well of pictures, videos and long text mails as well.

 

FORMAT OF E-MAIL WRITING




1)   Write the date of E-Mail.
2)   E-Mail ID of sender  
3)   E-Mail ID of receiver
4)   Subject of e-mail (as short as possible)
5)   Salutation (like dear ….)
6)   The main content of E-Mail
7)   The complementary words
8)   Name the of writer or sender

 

POINTS TO BE REMEMBERED WHILE E-MAIL WRITING

 

1)   Draw the proper layout of E-Mail on the answer sheet as well.

2)   Write date and both the e-mail addresses in proper format.

3)   Please don’t forgot to seek out the word limit of 150 words.

4)   Use simple, easy and crisp language.

5)   Don’t forgot to write the complementary words.

6)   Avoid writing the SMS language like: bcoz, c.u., dat, etc.

 

PLUS POINTS OF E-MAIL

     E-Mail has many plus points over other form of sending message.
1)   High speed:  Message can be sent at very fast rate over longer distances.
2)   Low cost:  It is an inexpensive mode of communication as no stationary is needed.
3)   Attachments:   we can attach many multi-media files like: audio, video, pictures and as well as other types of documents.

Q.  You are Suresh. Write an E-Mail to your friend Ritesh telling him about the summer vacation planning that you have decided to spend with him as he is coming to your house for vacation.
