RAW MATERIAL USED IN JEWELLERY BOXES


CLOTHES AVAILABLE FOR JEWELLERY BOX

There are unlimited number of clothes available for covering the jewellery boxes. Even though, these clothes are available in different kind of materials like: rubber, cotton and velvet etc.

TYPES OF CLOTHES AVAILABLE FOR JEWELLERY BOXES

1.   Rubber clothes

2.   Hard clothes

3.   Soft clothes


HARD CLOTHES

These types of clothes are strong and have high strength. They are made by high quality of clothes, which made them to use mostly for manufacturing purpose. These type of clothes does not tear easily so they have high durability.

MOST COMMON TYPES OF HARD CLOTHES

    Named on the basis of their texture:
    1.   Mat (chatai) cloth
    2.   Crocodile cloth
    3.   Football cloth

 

MAT (CHATAI) CLOTHES

This type of clothes have strong strength and smooth surface. The top portion is somehow like leather. Generally, they are thick. They are named after mat (chatai) because their criss-cross texture is similar to mat’s (chatai) knitting.

Their starting rate is very reasonable, it starts with rate of 500-600 rupees.




CROCODILE CLOTHES

This type of clothes are less strong than chatai types of clothes. They have the print as same as the texture on crocodile’s body. They are hard so, they are tough to fold, that’s why they are mostly used in covering big boxes so that less fold will there.

Their starting rate is very reasonable, it starts with rate of 200-400 rupees.


FOOTBALL CLOTHES

These are also the hard type cloth but they are very thin, that can easily got tear out. They are non-washable so sometimes they are used less. Besides this, they wrinkle free, easily foldable and printed which made them to use to carefully.

Their starting rate is very reasonable, it starts with rate of 150-200 rupees.




CHOBA

The raw material used to join all material with each other is called choba. They are nothing else or unique one, they are just only regular nails but in jewellery boxes the nails that we use are very thin so, they can easily go inside the boards.

Their sizes also got differ by board to board or box to box:

         1.   0.5 inch
     2.   0.75 inch
     3.   7 mm
